Halloween

It's been week full of Halloween fun!  We've made ghosts, scarecrows, and spider webs.  We've had our hands painted and our feet painted.  We've been counting and sorting with the #5, and we even got to EAT the letter H!  So much fun had by all.  Thanks again to all the parents who volunteered and donated items for our Halloween party to help make it a success! Hope you enjoy our pics of Halloween activities. :)

We made ghosts and trees on a spooooky sheet.

We hunted for the #5 on our fire trucks, and put a dot on them to 'put out the fire'.

We stamped our hands to make the letter "H".

Each student got to share their pumpkin project with the class.  So many cute ideas of materials to use!  Look for them to be hanging in the hallway next week!

Katelyn thought the fireman outfit was perfect, since we've been talking about fire safety this month. :)

The kids loved my doctor kit that I brought in from home that went with my doctor costume.

I love all the cool things these kids build with these new magna tiles.  So awesome!

That's Mr. Mason hiding again behind the curtain.  So many funny puppet shows! :)

Our first friend who took Gumby home for the week, told us a little about their adventures together.

Let the Halloween Party begin!
Blowing our spiders with a straw to get to a letter on our chart.

Making spider webs with plates and yarn.

Making scarecrow buckets and counting out 5 pieces of candy to fill each one.

Using icing to cover our square graham crackers, and then making the letter H with candy corn.  Yummy!

Parents read books to the kiddos at each table when they were finished.

Minds in Motion Time
We had to get some wiggles out, especially with all the Halloween excitement this week!
Sometimes these kiddos move so fast, it's hard to snap a picture in time. :)

Have a great week and a safe and happy Halloween!
