Valentine's Day

Love and friendship were definitely in the air this week as we celebrated Valentine's Day with our buddies in class!  We worked on a variety of skills, made some fun crafts, and enjoyed a fantastic party in our class on Friday.  What fun!  Hope you enjoy our videos and pics from the week!

We continue to work on our learning ring skills as well as tracing our first and last names.

We made cute little mail trucks this week to put all of our Valentines in for our party.

Kiddos stamped hearts and various pictures at my table while waiting their turn for learning rings.

The play dough table is always a favorite.

We drew a picture of our Student of the Week.

We worked on hunting for our letter "R" and coloring them.

We painted with sponges around our Scripture about loving God.  These were so cute.  Look for them in the hallway soon!

We shared our Show and Tell items for letter "R".

We had 1 orange rose.  Our color and letter of the week!

We had 1 robot toy.

We had 1 race car.

We had 1 curly ribbon.

We had 1 ring.

We had 1 Rex dinosaur.

We had 2 red balls.

We had 1 red heart.

We had 3 rabbits.

We had 1 Power Ranger.

We had 1 red fire hat.

We had a great time playing with friends in the classroom.  We especially loved doing dress up time this week! :)

We enjoyed some time in the Minds in Motion room this week.  We even got to sneak outside on Thursday for a little while as well!

We loved hanging out with each other and all of our volunteers during our Valentine's Day Party!  I'm so thankful for so many parents who were willing to come in and volunteer.  This truly wouldn't be possible without volunteers!! :)

We had a STEM science station with fizzing baking soda hearts, building with jelly hearts, and building with sugar cubes.  These kids usually love building with whatever they can. :)

We played Valentine Bingo and won stickers for prizes.

We graphed our colors of hearts and counted to see who had the colors with the most and the least.  We also used our tweezers to try to stack them and move them too.  Great fine motor practice as well as sorting and graphing skills too!

So thankful for this sweet lady that I get to work with!  Thank you Mrs. Andrea for keeping us all on track, especially on our crazy party days! :)

We managed to get some wiggles out at our "Musical Hearts" station where we did a variety of exercises too.

Hope you enjoyed our pics from the week!  Have a blessed day, and I'll see you Wednesday! :)
