We worked hard on tracing and finding our letter "J" this week.
We used our fingerprints to make a fun framed craft that went home in their gift bags this week. Hope you enjoy them!
We had a little leftover fundraising money from the Fall, and we bought a new rug for our room. It looks great!
It looks even better with all of our friends on it!
We worked on cutting, gluing, and ordering our numbers 1-10 with this paper activity this week.
Sweet smiling faces are so fun to see this time of year!
Happy birthday to this special little guy! We enjoyed some yummy cupcakes that he brought in for the class too!
Mrs. Andrea did a special Bible lesson with us that reminded us that all God wants for Christmas is us! This was a great reminder in the midst of the long list of things that we want for ourselves. :)
After reading the story of Jesus' birth, we each acted out part of the Nativity story. We had shepherds, wisemen, Joseph, Mary, baby Jesus, and lots of angels. So cute!!
Mrs. Andrea also worked with us on matching our upper and lowercase letters on our Christmas tree this week as well. This was a great review of our letters and a great fine motor activity to peel all these little stickers off to make ornaments for our trees. So fun!
We got to use watercolor to paint a cupcake to wish a Happy Birthday to Jesus. :)
We did our Show and Tell time with letter "J" items this week.
We had 1 set of Jacks. I hadn't seen this since I was a kid! :)
We had 1 picture of Jake the Neverland Pirate.
We had 1 Jumping Bean.
We had 1 Jasmine doll.
We had 1 juice box.
We had 1 baby Jesus ornament, even though I think it's hiding behind his back. ;)
We had 1 Jacob ornament.
We had 1 Jingle Bell.
We had 3 Jack-in-the-Boxes. They were all so cool and different!
We also had fun matching numbers with the right number of pictures with our puzzle game too.
We had a surprise visit from Santa Claus in our classroom this week!
Let's hope we're all on the Nice List! :)
We enjoyed playtime in the classroom...
We played outside when the weather was mild enough to squeeze in some play time.
We also did some Kids Cosmic Yoga on the days that it was too chilly to be outside.
Here are some cuties getting ready for the Christmas Program back stage.
They did such a great job!
I was super proud of their hard work. :)
We had a wonderful time at our Christmas Party!
We made ornaments that looked like candy canes with red and white beads and pipe cleaners.
We made ornaments with our pictures inside.
We helped decorate a Gingerbread House.
We played Christmas Bingo.
We took some funny pictures with some props as well. They are too cute!
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
