Christmas and Baby Jesus' Birthday

What a fun and busy week we've had!  We've been able to do all kinds of fun activities in class, sing in a Christmas program and have a class party all in the same week.  Such fun!  I hope all of you enjoyed the Christmas program as much as I did.  I was so proud of them. :)  Thanks again to those of you that sent in items and volunteered for our class party.  We really appreciate all that you do to make these activities so special.  Hope you enjoy the pics from the week!

Alphardy ABC Sounds Song

We wrote about what we would want to do if we were elves.  I was amazed at their responses...they would want to feed the reindeer, ride in the sleigh, and make a variety of toys they loved.  So cute!

We made manger scenes with shapes and circle stickers.

We did a roll and stamp activity with dice and numbers on a Christmas tree.

We painted birthday cupcakes for baby Jesus' birthday.

We clipped numbers to match the number of dots on our Christmas tree ten frames.

We matched our ten frame puzzles with the correct numbers.

We painted Christmas trees.

We worked on finishing our ten frames by adding numbers together.  This was the first type of addition activity that they did, so it was a little tricky.

We shared our letter "J" items and put them on our ten frame.

We had 1 block with letter "J" on it.

We had 1 jelly jar.

We had 3 jackets.

We had 1 jaguar.

We had 1 jigsaw puzzle.

We had 1 Jurassic Park cup and 1 Jurassic Park toy.

We had 1 jet.

We had 1 piece of jewelry.

We had 1 jeep.

Enjoying time with our friends...

We wrapped presents in our sensory bin this week.  They LOVED this!

Having fun in the MIM room.

We did some cosmic yoga poses during one of our exercise activities.

We watched a little bit of "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas" cartoon before our party.

We enjoyed some yummy treats of cheesestick snowmen, Grinch Santa hats, and some delicious popcorn as well.  Thanks parents!

We played Christmas Bingo with M & M's.

We iced gingerbread cookies with icing and sprinkles.

We made wreath ornaments with stickers.

We made jingle bell necklaces too.

So much fun had by all!  Have a blessed Christmas Break!
