Letter "D" song with ABC Mouse
Letter "D" Sound Song
We made name trains by putting the letters of our name in order and then measuring to see how long our train was in cubes. Most of our kiddos could put their names in order on their own, which is great!
We painted a drawing of Christmas lights with watercolor that had a little bit of corn syrup in it, and it made our pictures look really shiny and cool!
We worked on our letter "D" booklets.
We traced our numbers 1-10.
We found our sight word of the week "me" on our papers.
We colored our ball ornaments that had the color words inside of each.
We did a great little following directions activity. They watched me draw and talk about each shape in my train drawing, and then they drew their own. No two pictures were alike, and it was a really good activity to show our listening skills. :)
We painted trees and then spelled the word "tree". Look for these hanging at the end of the hallway by the back door.
These kiddos were giving a variety of cut out shapes, and they were told to make a train with them. They had a few drawings to look at, but they could make it however they wanted. Then, they told me how many circles, triangles, rectangles, they used and recorded their information.
These are up in the hallway next to our name trains!
