Farm, Berry Twist, Graduation, and Huber's

Our last week of preschool was a very busy one full of celebration and loads of fun!  We worked on our farm theme with a variety of activities, visited Berry Twist for some ice cream treats, performed our graduation program and enjoyed a day at Huber's Family Fun Park too.  We had so much fun, and have so many pictures to share!  Hope you enjoy our pics from our last week of school.  I can't believe it's already over.  This year has flown by!  I hope all of you have a wonderful summer, and I wish all of you the best of luck next year in kindergarten!  These sweet kiddos are going to do a fantastic job! :)

We practiced some basic cutting skills one last time.  These kiddos have come SO FAR with their cutting skills this year!  I'm so proud of how they've improved.

We decorated our bags that had our Mother's and Father's Day gifts in them.  I hope you enjoyed them along with their binders that we gave out at graduation.  They worked so hard on those crafts, and I hope you have some great keepsakes! :)

We've made so much progress with our coloring skills, and we're working hard to stay in the lines as much as possible.

We had a "boot scootin' good time in preschool this year!"

We made a fun graduation picture craft that turned out super cute!  Hope you enjoy this in your binder too!

We celebrated one last summer birthday for a sweet friend on our last day. :)

We blew bubbles and played with friends one last time.

We're headed to get ice cream at Berry Twist, and we're working really hard on walking in a line behind the person in front of us. :)  One more thing to get us ready for kindergarten!

Vanilla ice cream with sprinkles...yum!

What cuties!  I had to take one final class picture. :)

Graduation practice fun!

Time to get ready to walk on stage for our big performance...they can hardly wait!

These cuties are getting ready to perform...

These kids just crack me up!  They had so much fun, and all these silly faces were just too cute!  I was so proud of their performance, and I hope you were too. :)

Despite the chilly weather, we managed to have a great day at Huber's.  We released some butterflies from another LAP class.  Just beautiful!

I didn't get many pictures of our friends playing, but I did get a chance to talk to quite a few kiddos and parents along the way.  It's been such a pleasure getting to know these boys and girls this year.  I will miss them so much.  Thank you so much for sharing them with me!  I'm so BLESSED! :)

HAVE A WONDERFUL SUMMER!

Derby and Horses

It was a busy week of talking about Derby horses and racing in our classroom this week!  We watched footage of the 2018 Derby and talked about the difference between Derby and Oaks races as well.  We colored our own jockey silks and horses and named our horses as well.   I also worked a lot on our final assessments, so we had fewer crafts than usual.  Thanks to a sweet and helpful grandma volunteering her time, we also had racing pool noodle ponies that we were able to race on the playground on Thursday.  So fun!  Hope you enjoy our pics and videos from the week!
