Spell PINK song
Letter "E" Song by ABC Mouse
Letter "E" Song by Jack Hartman
These 2 crazy ladies thoroughly enjoyed crazy hat day (maybe a little too much). ;)
Mrs. Susie helped us graph Dr. Seuss characters by coloring them, counting them, and putting the write amount of them on the graph.
In Mrs. Hannah's group, we worked on words in the -at family that rhyme. We created a Cat in the Hat hat that had all these rhyming words on it. We used our cutting and gluing skills to put it altogether.
Our cutting skills have come so far! The majority of our kids are doing really well with cutting! Yeah!
We hunted for the letter "E" with dotters.
We traced the #18, counted it on a ten frame, and colored in 18 items using 1:1 correspondence.
I made an example of a Cat in the Hat hat by using a red and white stripe pattern.
These kiddos did a great job of using the sample to create their own hat craft.
After reading the book "Oh, the Places You'll Go," we talked about the places we would like to visit one day. So many cute responses!
After reading "Fox in Socks," we made our own paper bag fox puppets.
Based on the theme of "One Fish, Two Fish," we read our own little book by counting fish. We created addition problems by counting the fish in each bowl and then totaling up.
We worked on the sight word "and" by hunting for it and reading it on a paper. We also worked on our individual learning rings and tracing our first and last names.
This cute little guy had our "All About Me" basket and shared his items with the class. (It also happened to be our mismatch day too, in case you didn't notice :)
We did our Show and Tell on our ten frame this week and shared all of our letter "E" items.
We had 2 eggs.
We had 3 pairs of earrings.
We had 2 elephants.
We had 2 envelopes.
We had 1 Easter basket.
We had 1 plastic eyeball.
We had 1 letter "E" puzzle piece.
Playtime with our friends
Crazy clothes and hair on mismatch day
Fun time in the Minds in Motion room to exercise our bodies and our brains.
We were so thankful to go outside and enjoy some sunshine for just a little while this week. I think we're all ready for Spring at this point!
Hope you enjoyed the pics! See you on Wednesday!
