We're working on tracing names. Next week we'll sign in each day by tracing these laminated names as well. Please practice tracing names at home with the ones that were sent home on a ring on your child's bag. They should have a dry erase marker in their bag too. :)
Ms. Nicole worked on a counting and graphing pet worksheet with kiddos this week.
We worked on putting puzzles together with friends.
We worked on coloring a dog or cat of our choice.
We used our letter of the week to create "T is for Tiger" crafts.
We read about "The Rainbow Fish" and learned that the more we give away to others, the happier we can be. Sharing feels good!
We made dogs out of fun design paper. Then, we got to give them names. These are hanging in the hallway.
We made bracelets with buttons, after we read, "Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons."
We made a shirt with 4 buttons just like Pete the Cat, and then we traced a sentence using our two color words we've covered so far, red and blue.
We made goldfish crafts with our handprints and Cheerios. So fun!
We made Pete the Cat headbands with various shapes.
We got a chance to pet Peter the rabbit that Mrs. Nicole brought in from home.
Show and Tell for Letter "T"
This week we had...
3 turtles
1 truck
2 trolls
1 tutu
1 telephone
1 tiara
1 T-Rex
4 tigers
We had fun with birds nests.
We read books.
We even measured Mrs. Nicole with dog bones. We had some great estimations on how many bones it would take to measure her.
Since Brylynn had the best guess, we measured her with dog bones too!
Playtime with friends in the classroom, in the MIM room, and outside too!
