We've had such a busy and fun week learning about leaves and the Fall season! Thanks so much for those of you that donated to LAP and attended the Trike-a-Thon fundraiser. We truly appreciate all your support! Hope you enjoy seeing the pics of the week, and I can't wait to see your kiddos back in two weeks. Enjoy your Fall Break everyone! :)

Class Work and Learning Centers
We made bookmarks with the letters in our names and decorated them with leaf stickers. It's a super cute way to work on the spelling of our name, and a great take-home craft to encourage reading!
We worked on sorting our leaves by color and then investigated them a bit more by size and shape. These kiddos did great with sorting as well as classifying by size!
Lorelai classified each by color too! Yeah! :)
We stamped 5 leaves on the number 5.
We put a dot on each letter "L" we could find.
Class Playtime
Playdough is always a hit!
Fire Safety
The month of October is Fire Safety Month, so we had our fireman from the Lafayette Fire Department visit us to tell us about ways to stay safe in case of a fire. We watched a video on what to do and when to call 911. We also got to see them put all their gear on to show us not to be scared of a fireman in uniform. Then, they showed us their big firetruck out front!
