Snow and Ice

It's been a perfectly chilly week to talk about snow and ice, and ironically, we even got to see some snow on Friday as well!  We've had a lot of fun reading about, talking about, and experimenting with this winter theme, so I hope you enjoy this peek at our week!  See you next Thursday! :)

We worked on 1:1 correspondence by placing the right amount of marbles on each number.  (We put 4 marbles on the number 4 and so on.)  This is still tough for a lot of kiddos to be able to recognize their numbers and count out the correct number of marbles for each, so this was great practice.

We worked on spelling our names with our cute little snowmen.

We worked on our cutting, gluing, and letter "I" sound by gluing pictures of items that start with "I" on our worksheet.

Look at those great cutting skills!  I think someone has been practicing at home.  I'm so proud! :)

We worked on tracing the number 9 with stickers.  Keep working on peeling off stickers at home too, because it's a great workout for that little pincer grasp.

Millie Kate got to take Gumby home this week for some bike riding and tea parties. ;)

Guess who was Student of the Week this week. ;)  We finally got to see the beloved Woody toy!

It's snack time!

Enjoying some playtime with our friends!

We  went "fishing for ice" by using salt water and causing a string to freeze to an ice cube.

Getting some wiggles out in the Minds in Motion Room!

Have a great week!
