We stamped the letter "S", we sticker traced it, and rainbow wrote it too!
We made rockets with numbers 1-10. Our number of the week was 10, so this was a great activity for review of all our numbers so far. You can look for these rockets in the hallway.
We used our paint dotters to find all the "S" letters in the page.
We were able to trace our letter "S" in ssssugar this week for the first time as well. They loved it!
We created planets by combining red and yellow globs of paint together. They learned that red and yellow together make orange, and Mrs. Hannah learned that painting with plastic wrap is much trickier than it looks! Thankfully, Mrs. Karen was a huge help and was incredibly flexible as usual! Nevertheless, they had fun, and they turned out cute. :)
Check out one of our funny planet videos!
Extra playtime with some of our table top center activities.
This class loooves these new magna tiles. Fundraiser money put to very good use with these kiddos!
It's dress-up time!
Somehow this new toy has made it into our room this week, and it has been the coveted toy in the class. It requires some thought and logic, not to mention fine motor skills for these little hands. :)
This was the picture BEFORE we used the parachute for the first time.
This was DURING the parachute fun!
They loved it, and I think my ears are still recuperating from all the squeals of excitement!
Here's another link to one of our videos this week.
We have been practicing with counting from 1-10 for the past few weeks.
This week, we pretended to be rockets in the classroom, so we squatted down, and counted from 10-1 and then...
BLAST OFF!
It's time to put our "Minds in Motion"!
Have a blessed week!
