These little investigators looked closely at these leaves and worked on drawing them and describing them by color and size. Great scientists!
We painted with Legos to make it look like leaves on a tree. Messy but fun!
We "traced" leaves with paint. Some of them look more like leaves than others, but it was still a lot of fun!
We worked on making letter Bb with dry erase markers.
We worked on sorting picture cards under the write letter to match the beginning letter sounds.
We played a game by spinning a spinner to land on certain individual leaves, and then we graphed our responses after spun.
We
had a friend bring in the Estimation Jar full of trains, and we had to
guess to see how many were in there. We're now talking about making a
guess less than 20, writing the numbers we guess, and then counting
together as a class to see who guessed the closest number.
We cut and pasted pieces of a sentence and put it back together correctly.
We worked on a combo skills sheet to help us match upper and lowercase letters, trace our letters and numbers, and show 9 on a ten frame.
We shared our items on the ten frame.
We had 1 bunny.
We had 2 bears.
We had 1 baby bottle.
We had 3 balls.
We had 2 Barbie friends. :)
We had 1 bottle of baby lotion.
We had 1 blue dinosaur fingerling.
We had 1 boy.
We had 1 Barney stuffed animal.
We had 1 bat.
We had 1 berry. (It was also pink, our color of the week!)
We had 1 book.
We got some wiggles out in the MIM room this week.
We played with friends inside the classroom...
We were also able to purchase these new ladybuy chairs with our fundraiser money as well. So cute!
We celebrated this little birthday boy...
...with cupcakes! Can you tell what color the icing was?
We braved the cold with our winter coats and played outside for just a little bit. Look at this cool musical noise maker we added to our playground area. So fun! Thanks to all your fundraiser contributions, we were able to make that happen!
Have a blessed week!
