Halloween

What a fun week we've had celebrating our Halloween theme!  We've been able to do a variety of fun activities and crafts, and we even got to end our week with a party.  It doesn't get much better than that!  Thanks again to all the parents and volunteers who sent in items for our crafts and snacks, and thank you to those of you who came in to help out with the party.  We appreciate all of you making our party a success for these sweet kiddos! :)

We learned a new song that helps us spell the color W-H-I-T-E.

We started off our week with sharing our cute pumpkin pictures.  I'm so proud of how creative they turned out!  Look for these on display in the hallway.

Apparently, this is what a spooky pumpkin looks like, and Bentlee was nice enough to act it out for us. :)

We celebrated a few different birthdays this week that we missed over Fall Break.  Happy late birthday, Bentlee!

Playtime with friends

New toys that we bought with Trike-a-Thon money were definitely a hit!

We made some fun crafts to take home.  These were way too cute to pass up!

These kiddos got to be magicians this week!  I traced their names with white crayon, and they used watercolor paint to reveal their name on their papers.

We played a dice game that had them roll a dice and then color the numbers on their page to match the dice.  I could definitely tell which kiddos play games with dice at home.  They could count the dots without a problem!  Family games are a great way to help with these counting skills.

Mrs. Susie helped us create a Halloween graph with our color words.

Fun with playdough

Enjoying a little bit of sunshine with our friends while we still have it!

We celebrated another birthday that we missed over Fall Break as well.  Happy belated birthday, Bree!

Sharing all of our letter "P" items during carpet time with our friends.

We had 2 pink ponies.

We had 2 pumpkins.

We had 1 dinosaur that started with "P" that I can't pronounce or spell.  Sorry, Jameson! :)

We had 1 Potato Head.

We had 1 pink Peppa the Pig.

We had 1 set of pearls.

We had 1 Pluto.

We had 1 box of puzzles.

We had 10 precious people!  Look at these cuties!

It's party time!
We made spider webs with yarn and plastic spiders on a paper plate.

We smeared icing on a graham cracker and made the letter "P" with candy corn.  Yum!

We put our skeleton puzzle together.

We painted small pumpkins and Mrs. Hannah glued on googly eyes and hairbows (for girl) to make our pumpkins look fancy.

Mrs. Susie helped us create our own Jack-o-lanterns.

So much fun had by all!  Thanks so much to all of you that helped out with the party and supplies!
