We started off our week with a visit from a very special person. Santa paid us a surprise visit, and our kids were so excited to see him!
We used watercolor paints to paint a birthday cupcake for Jesus' birthday.
We also painted around a paper tree with all different colors to leave the Christmas tree image left behind. So cool and colorful!
We finished up our handprint Christmas cards for our loved ones.
We made nativity scenes out of Popsicle sticks.
We made reindeer using all different kinds of shapes, and then we counted the different shapes that we used.
We worked on wrapping presents in the sensory bin this week.
Some of these kiddos were much better present wrappers than I realized!
Tangram Christmas puzzles during our table top center time
Fun little hand print nativity scenes for Christmas gifts. Hope you enjoyed them!
Fun times in the green room this week!
I got each one of them to hold still...just for a second. :)
Christmas Party time!
We played Christmas BINGO.
We made wreaths out of green and red beds for the tree or for packages.
We made ornaments that look like reindeer.
We tossed bean bags in the Christmas tree holes.
Look at these cuties! :)
We also had some yummy reindeer brownies and baby Jesus crescent wraps.
Thank you to all the parent volunteers that made our party a success! Thank you also for all the sweet gifts given to Nicole and me. That was so sweet and thoughtful!
Bridge and Lunch Bunch Afternoon Activities
We worked on matching rhyming word cards with the correct pictures as a group.
We worked on making the letter of the week and other letters covered so far.
Creative drawing station - This little man made a birthday card for Jesus.
We worked in groups to put word puzzles together.
We wrote our names and then traced them with fingerprint stamping.
We also drew different shapes and traced them with fingerprint stamping too.
We made the three wise men out of circles and triangles.
They turned out so cute!
We finished the patterns on our pattern cards.
We also used our fingerprints to make candy canes (or letter "J").
We even got a chance to play outside for a little bit later in the week!
Hope you enjoyed the pics from the week!
