Polar Express

We took a trip to the Polar Express this week and had so much fun doing it!  We made trains with our names and with empty thread spools, we had hot cocoa, and we even got to watch parts of the Polar Express movie!  We read the book as well and talked a little bit about how the two are different. We made trains out of the different shapes we've covered and then talked about how many of each shape we used.

We read books about the Polar Express and reviewed our sight words covered so far.

We also made the letter "J" is for Jesus craft too.  Check these out in the hallway!

 We took some cute pictures by the Christmas tree to make our special gift frame to go home.

We got to try some hot chocolate and then...

we got our tickets punched and boarded the Polar Express!

We made our chairs look like a train and then watched the Polar Express movie! :)

At the end of the day, we each got our own special bell to take home from the Polar Express too.
